Does Coin Buying Still Exist?

Coin Buying Is Still Around
EA may have changed some things but the truth is, all they did was make it a bit of a hassle to buy coins but it’s still possible and it’s still cheaper then buying FIFA Points. With Price ranges being the major change that plays a role in what I’m about to explain. You need to understand that if you buy a million in coin then you have to put up a player with a million as his max range. If you don’t have a player worth a million then you will need to invest in one and that will drive down your actual profit in coin so invest wisely. For example on XBOX Robert Pires and 88 rated Lahm will cost your 650k in coin which you can then list for a million for a 350k profit. Which in turn means that you just paid a coin seller for a million coin but only made 350k more then you started (don’t forget the 5% EA tax). This is why less people are buying coin.
Is It Better To Just Buy FIFA Points Instead?
Well if you do the simple math, you would know that $100 would buy you 12,000 FIFA Points, which means you can open 80 packs (The 7500 coin packs with 3 rare gold cards). Here’s what you can do with less then $100 and 60k in coin.
- Buy a player at 60k – 65k minimum and sell him for 100k (to coin sellers) cost = $2.00
- Buy a player for 100k (minimum range) and sell him for 160k (to coin sellers) cost = $3.00
- Buy a player for 160k (minimum range) and sell him for 250k (to coin sellers) cost = $4.75
- Buy a player for 250k (minimum range) and sell him for 380k (to coin sellers) cost = $7.25
- Buy a player for 350k (minimum range) and sell him for 500k (to coin sellers) cost = $10.00
- Buy a player for 500k (minimum range) and sell him for 800k (to coin sellers) cost = $15.25
- Buy a player for 750k (minimum range) and sell him for 1.1m (to coin sellers) cost = $21.00
I forgot to calculate for the 5% EA tax but I got to 1.1 million coin for $63.25 and that equates to 146 packs. Like I said I forgot to take into account the 5% tax but I think the point I was trying to prove has been proven. If you can’t find cheap prices for coin like the ones I listed then you’re not looking hard enough. There are a couple sites out there with these type of prices but I will not promote them here by posting their URLs. Either way prices only fluctuate by around 10 – 20% between coin sellers. That means even at any coin seller you should be able to get to 1 million coin by spending $75 at the most, which is worth almost twice as much as $100 in FIFA Points is.
Is There Another Way To Buy Coin?
There’s some other ways to buy coins. If you’re a very trusting person you can pretty much allow access to your account to a coin seller and they will fill your account with coin and then once you log back in, change your password so they can’t regain control.
The other option out there is to buy a pre-filled account. You pay a coin seller for a brand new account pre-filled with as many coins as you purchase. You basically start Ultimate Team over with this new account.
I wrote this article to make you aware of EAs FIFA Points and how expensive they really are, not to promote coin selling/buying. We are not sponsored by coin sellers and don’t actively search for such sponsorship. With that said we understand the need for them as EA has really priced packs out of most people’s reach. I guess you could argue that this is not the case but when you take into consideration how awful most packs are then you can’t really argue much. It takes tons and tons of packs to make you enough coin to afford a Ronaldo or a Messi (the two most loved players in real football). You may have to spend over $500 opening packs before you can afford one of them. If you bought coin you could probably get both for half that money. Is it cheating? Maybe although it’s the kind of cheating everyone can do. My question to you is, is it ethical for EA to charge money to customers who already paid to play the game, to essentially gamble on packs only to have 90%+ of them never getting anything good? (you don’t believe me? open 10 packs and tell me if you got more then 10% of them to be good packs. A good pack is and should be defined by a pack which contents can sell for over what you paid for that pack. If it’s a pack worth 7500 coin then it’s contents should at least get me my 7500 coin back. I’ve actually given the packs more credit than they deserve by stating 10% of them are good).
