The Best Team In FIFA

I’m always building and testing out squads trying to find the best squad to play with. Nepenthez had someone tweet him this squad that he built and tried out and seemed to like enough to make a video featuring the squad.

I built this squad yesterday and took it out for a spin. In my Squad I used Benatia instead of IF Alaba. I confess I usually use a front three of 2IF Neymar, Ronaldo and Bale. I never thought of playing Bale as the ST. Moving Bale to ST and bringing in my TOTY Robben at RW made for a deadly front three.

In the midfield playing Modric at CAM was new to me. I usually use him as a CM or CDM. It worked out. He can do the job there for sure and if you play a high pressing style, he will intercept and break up plays for you really deep upfield which lead to quick and easy goals.

Replace Yaya Toure With Ramires

I don’t like the idea of having both Bastian schweinsteiger and Yaya Toure. I just feel like they are the same player almost with some minor differences. If I’m going to use two CDMs I usually opt for one tall and physical player and another who’s got more pace and covers more ground like Chelsea’s Ramires. Another benefit of using Ramires is that it allowed me to use Filipe Luis who is much better than Clichy in my opinion.

The Verdict

I played 10 games in Div 1 with the squad. I won 7, drew 1 and lost 2 games. This is a very solid squad. I will be using it more often.  Check out the full squad in Nepenthez’s video.
