What’s The Best Formation?

I get asked all the time “What formation should I use?” . Wait! This is starting to sound like a post I wrote a while back. If you want to know what I think about FUT formations, just click and read that post. I break down some formations and outline how to use them.

In this video Nepenthez votes for the 433(3) as his best formation for FUT, which I don’t completely disagree with, but I prefer the 433(4) just because I like having CMs instead of having CDMs although honestly depending on your instruction settings, you’ll probably not notice a difference between these two formations.

What I like about this video is that Neppo goes thru the whole squad and instructions for them. His gameplay is excellent and should be watched and emulated if you’re trying to get better.

Side Note: I usually choose one of my CMs in a 433(4) and instruct him to “Stay back while attacking”. Nepenthez doesn’t do that because he’s using two CDMs and they tend to lay back a little more than CMs.
